The Public Art of Aberdeen, Washington

Aberdeen, Washington is the largest city in Grays Harbor County. It is a nexus of events in the Southwest Coastal Washington area. There is a surprisingly lively art scene here, including a collection of public murals that began during the state Centennial, a whimsical collection of critters currently being restored and various other art forms. The city is best known as the hometown of Kurt Cobain and the birth place of his band Nirvana.

For your convenience this website consolidates information for three projects of Our Aberdeen's Art Promotion Group. Each project has a separate printed brochure, but many of these pieces can be seen in close proximity to one another on a walking tour of downtown Aberdeen.
